Balmain’s lipstick collection with L’Oréal Paris is dropping next month

Owning a little piece of Balmain is about to become a whole lot cheaper.
Olivier Rousteing’s anticipated collab with L’Oréal has a release date.
Rousteing’s first lipstick capsule collection features 12 shades inspired by (and named after) his model muses. Think red for Lara Stone and violet for Seoul-born Soo Joo Park.
“With the makeup, it’s a way to invite [my fans] to have a piece of Balmain,” Rousteing told Vogue. And, at just $14 USD per shade, it looks like many of those fans will be able to join the Balmain club.
Three of the shades will also be offered up as wearable jewellery, with the lipstick acting as a necklace pendant.
The L’Oréal Paris x Balmain Paris capsule lipstick collection will launch on September 20 at Barneys and L’Oréal Paris USA. No word yet on an Aus release, though Barneys does ship to our shores.
