How it feels

This is a multi-use serum that can be used both day and night before moisturising. It’s super lightweight, blends seamlessly into the skin and doesn’t leave my face feeling tacky or sticky. I get funny about bad-smelling skincare, but one of the things I like most about this serum is not only its texture but its pleasant fragrance. It’s not too overpowering, but rather quite subtle and enjoyable to have on your face. Finally, the packaging is ridiculously beautiful. The white vine-like structure in the middle of the bottle is stunning and the pump finish makes it easy to use. Practical and beautiful.

Why I like it

Yes, the packaging is stunning, but most of us want to spend our dollars on ingredients and skincare that actually works. The hero ingredient of this serum is a stable form of vitamin C. Not only does that vitamin C give the skin instant hydration but it teaches the skin to retain moisture. This is the standout feature for me. Being winter, when my skin is drier than usual, I have to incorporate an oil into my routine to add extra moisture. I genuinely feel like this serum has helped my skin maintain hydration like none before. It also features anti-inflammatory properties to reduce redness and collagen to help reduce fine lines and improve elasticity. Overall it’s a beautiful serum that actually does help improve all skin types.

Areas for improvement

I’m a genuine believer that good makeup all starts with good skincare. So if you want to invest your dollars, invest them here. The reason being if your base is great, your makeup products are more likely to perform better. With this serum, you are getting what you pay for: high-quality ingredients that actually benefit your skin. It’s a winner.
