Hidden gems.

Gone are the days when Chemist Warehouse was just the place you popped into on an errand day to grab your CeraVe cleanser and a new deodorant. While it will probably still give you slight sensory overload upon entrance, this trusty pharmacy has stepped it up a notch and is now stocking some pretty bougie beauty brands after joining forces with Ultra Beauty in early 2023.

We like nosy people. Don’t be shy, head to our Beauty section for more.

I’ve done some investigating, and I present to you a curated list of the best beauty brands you can now buy at Chemist Warehouse. Next time you walk through that automatic sliding door, greeted by a security guard and about a million fluorescent price tags, you’ll know where to beeline it to.

Byredo

Surprisingly, Chemist Warehouse now stocks a selection of perfume from cult-favourite beauty brand Byredo. With scents ranging from Gypsy Water (think pine needles, pepper and sandalwood) to La Tulipe (springtime freesia, rhubarb with a base of wood). A 100ml bottle will set you back about $270.

Yves Saint Laurent

Not only does it stock an iconic range of perfumes from luxury beauty brand Yves Saint Laurent, but you can also purchase a selection of mascara and the brand’s iconic highlighter, Touche Eclat.

Garbo and Kelly

Chemist Warehouse stocks a huge selection of Garbo and Kelly products. You could make up your whole face using the brand’s impeccable products. My personal favourites are the brow set and Overnight Sensation palette. If you’re feeling a bit silly you could also buy the $42 tweezers (they must be pretty fantastic for this price).

Lancôme

If Emma Chamberlain approves, then I’m all in (and she’s Lancȏme’s Global Brand Ambassador). The chemist is stocking a range of its perfumes, but also a very nifty three-piece eye makeup set, complete with a mascara wand, eyeliner pencil and eye makeup remover all in one pack.

OPI

Iconic nail polish brand OPI makes spending $18 on a bottle of nail polish seem totally justifiable (that’s how high quality it is). Chemist Warehouse stocks a wide range of shades – I’m eyeing this really cute wine red shade.

Clarins

Clarins might be a beauty brand you associate with department stores and your mum’s makeup bag, but in recent years the brand’s released an array of high-performance skincare and beauty products. There’s a wide range of the brand’s skincare stocked in-store and online, as well as select makeup products like mascara, gloss and a matte powder.

Olaplex

You know what’s up with this brand. Olaplex can bring your hair back from the dead, no matter the state it’s in. Honestly, you should use it even if you’ve got luscious locks right now – who knows what type of hair perfection you could unlock? Try the No.4 and No.5 shampoo and conditioner.

MCo Beauty

Not as fancy as the rest of the options on this list, but I just have to put you on to Australian beauty brand MCo Beauty. It has near-perfect dupes of all your favourite sold-out products. I’ll link them and I feel like If you’re even remotely beauty-savvy, you’ll probably be able to guess what each product is a dupe for, particularly the brand’s Lip Oil, Flawless Glow Luminous Skin Filter and Super Glow Bronzing Drops.

Dr LeWinn’s

Believe it or not, Chemist Warehouse stocks an eye serum from Dr LeWinn’s that contains caviar. Need I say more? The much-loved Australian skincare brand is known for its scientific approach to anti-ageing products, but whether or not you’re after anti-ageing products, its vitamin C sheet mask is top-notch.

Eaoron

Australian brand Eaoron combines cutting-edge technology with all-natural ingredients and is known for creating an innovative hyaluronic acid formula back in 2014 (its claim to fame is that it did it before it was the skincare product of the moment).
