September favourites.

A seasonal shift is the perfect excuse to update your beauty routine. Aside from antihistamines, my spring glow-up essentials involve a thorough body scrub, a good gradual tanner and yes, a new floral fragrance (groundbreaking).

Finding a foundation that works for your skin can be tricky enough, let alone when you’re battling with eczema or acne flare-ups. Calming irritated and inflamed skin was founder Amy Liu’s mission when she created Tower 28, one of the only cosmetics brands to be accredited by the Eczema Association of Australasia. Launched this month, the Swipe Serum foundation delivers hydrating, natural-looking coverage that won’t break you out.

Now that we’re starting to dress for warmer weather, it’s time to polish up those limbs. A new launch from Diptyque’s Les Rituels de Soin bodycare range, this aromatic scrub is more than up to the task, with sea salt and hazelnut shell powder to slough away dry winter skin.

After a five-year hiatus, Marc Jacobs Beauty officially returned to Sephora’s shelves in Australia this month. While I’m devastated that the cult Coconut Bronzers are no longer a thing, its smaller lineup stays true to the designer’s grunge roots. Best applied with a finger, this puffy, metallic star-shaped eyeshadow in the shade ‘Out Late’ is the easiest shortcut to a smoky eye.

Blending fresh notes of violet with a toasty hit of sesame, this is one of those unique fragrances you have to experience for yourself. An unexpected floral for spring.

My skin normally freaks out with high-potency actives, but this brightening serum somehow feels gentle, even with 15 per cent stabilised vitamin C. That’s likely thanks to the addition of panthenol (vitamin B5) which helps maintain the skin barrier.

Nécessaire The Hand Wash Santal, $74

A whopping 500ml of the bougiest hand wash you’ll ever use. The woodsy santal scent is so long-lasting I actually started accusing my housemate of stealing my Le Labo perfume.
