Sometimes the easiest way to freshen up your appearance is to experiment with beauty techniques you’ve never tried before.

Here are four colourful looks you can try from the safety of your own home.

Look one
Hair

1. Spray Shu Uemura Wonder Worker Blow Dry Perfector throughout locks and dry with a hair dryer.
2. Tong hair with a curling wand, leaving waves intact.
3. Brush waves out using a bristle brush.
4. Finish with Hair by Sam McKnight Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist.

Face

1. Trace 3INA The Chubby Lipstick in 100 just outside the natural edges of the lip line.
2. Diffuse the colour with a small blending brush to create an inverted ombre effect.
3. Gloss the bare centre of the lips with 3INA The Lip Gloss in 107 to amp up the shine.

Look two
Hair

1. Add Shu Uemura Essence Absolue Oil to mid-lengths and ends of hair.
2. Flat iron hair with a straightener, avoiding the hairline around the face.
3. Spray KEVIN MURPHY Session Spray to smooth out flyaways.

Face

1. Using a blush brush, sweep 3INA The Cream Eyeshadow in 319 over the entire eyelid. Wrap the colour around the cheek in a C-shape for a draped blush effect.
2. Create an ombre wash of varying warm tones by buffing 3INA The Glowing Face Palette in yellow and peach across the cheeks and eyes.

Look three
Hair

1. Tong hair with a conical curling wand.
2. Spray Shu Uemura Texture Wave throughout the hair.
3. Add volume by blow waving with a hair dryer.

Face

1. Map in the eye shape with 3INA The Pencil Eyeshadow in 102 and blend out with a soft, fluffy brush.
2. Apply 3INA The Cream Eyeshadow in 303 all over the lid to build up pigment. Use the same blending brush to buff out the cream and soften the edges.

Look four

Hair

1. Flat iron hair with a straightener.
2. Brush back hair into a ponytail.
3. Spray KEVIN MURPHY Session Spray to smooth out flyaways.

Face

1. For a clear sparkling base, wash 3INA The Creamy Eyeshadow in 316 over the entire eye with a small blending brush.
2. Using a fine point eyeliner brush, apply 3INA The Colour Mascara in 104 on the upper and lower lashlines, connecting at the outer corner wing.
3. Finish by coating the lashes with the same colour mascara to pop the eye further.
