Foundation itself has been the literal foundation of countless makeup looks since its first modern iteration almost 90 years ago.
But everyone’s skin presents its own set of unique needs, and navigating the world of base makeup isn’t a simple task. The quest for the perfect foundation and concealer duo involves considerations beyond coverage and finish. It involves an understanding of your skin type and texture – both of which are subject to change. As we age, our skin undergoes countless transformations, requiring a tailored approach to reflect these shifts.

What are the most important factors to look for when choosing the right foundation?
When choosing a foundation, the most important factors to think about are what kind of finish you would like, the type of coverage you prefer and your skin type should [also] definitely be taken into consideration when choosing a formula! For example, you might want to steer clear of super matte formulas if you have drier skin and may want to opt for a dewy or radiant finish foundation
