How-to: opulent waves from macgraw’s MBFWA runway

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is in full swing, and today’s macgraw Resort ’19 show was all about opulence and gothic drama.
Of course, no runway look is complete without the perfect hairstyle. The team behind Edwards and Co has been kind enough to share the secret of how to achieve this macgraw-worthy style at home, with the help of a few key KEVIN.MURPHY products.
1. Section hair in a middle part and prep with ANTI.GRAVITY.
2. Dry product in, making sure not to blow dry hair smooth (allowing for ample texture).
3. Spray hair with SESSION.SPRAY and brush out.
4. Using a 19mm tong, wrap hair in a ribbon formation, interchanging between curling under and curling over. Once done, let the hair cool.
5. Grab sections of hair nearest to the top of the part and tong starting at eyebrow level to create an off the face curl. Once cooled, spray DOO.OVER and shake the curl out.
6. Take two strands each side of the part, twisting hair to the back of the head then securing with pins.
7. Depending on texture, finish with DOO.OVER or for an amazing floating feel use HAIR.RESORT.
8. To complete the look, attach jewels into hair by weaving into twists.
