Mecca has made a limited-edition Superscreen for International Women’s Day

Words by Maeve Kerr-Crowley.

With all proceeds going to the Hunger Project.

March 8 is International Women’s Day, and it also happens to be the one-year anniversary of the Mecca M-Power Program.

The program is designed to help women realise their potential through access to mentoring and funding in their fields.

To celebrate the anniversary and International Women’s Day, Mecca has teamed up with artist Atong Atem for a special release of its To Save Face Superscreen.

Atem was the winner of the Mecca M-Power NGV Arts Mentoring Scholarship last year. Packaging for the limited edition Superscreen will feature her work, Self Portrait in Mercury.

All of the proceeds from the sale of Atem and Mecca’s sunscreen will go to the Hunger Project, helping to empower women in developing countries.
