I’m a notoriously nosy person when it comes to products. I want to know whether you double cleanse at night, and if so which cleansers you use. I want to know if there’s some special hair contraption or pair of tweezers that have (hyperbole warranted) changed your life. I want to know what curl definer you use and which lip balm you swear by.
But my interest in products doesn’t just pertain to the world of beauty – I’m always eager to hear about an air fryer that someone loves so much they’ve convinced their entire extended family to get one, or a laptop stand that’s corrected their posture and improved their quality of life by at least 25 per cent.

In short, I j’adore products. This is why I’ve asked some of our favourite Australian beauty and skincare influencers for their top three products, AKA the products they simply cannot live without. The scope is broad – it can genuinely be any three products, as long as they’re the three they value the most.

Product one: Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

How did you first discover this product?
I found this primer trending on IG a few months ago, as I was after a primer that would hydrate my skin, isn’t full of dimethicone and still makes my makeup look flawless.
What is it/what does it do and why do you love it?
This! Is! The! One! It works as an amazing base for your makeup to cling to, and can also be used to slick your brows down. Iconic primer. Oh and Milk Makeup is coming to Sephora Aus; amazing.
Where can we find it and who would you recommend it to?
I’d recommend it to those who want a glowy base but still want their makeup to last all day. Find it here.
Product two: Glisten Cosmetics Wet Liners

How did you first discover this product?
I use these pot liners in pretty much all my makeup looks. They’re great quality, don’t crack, are super pigmented and come in every colour you can think of. You can also buy the liner brushes to help you create clean lines.
What is it/what does it do and why do you love it?
It’s basically the adult version of facepaint and is so fun when you want a switch from your traditional black liner.

Product three: Massage gun from Müssage

How did you first discover this product?
This is a bit random, but I’m addicted to my massage gun.
What is it/what does it do and why do you love it?
Post-workout, I’ll self-massage my lower back and it feels INCREDIBLE. Completely loosens up your muscles and relieves delayed onset muscle soreness. It comes with different heads for different muscle groups. It makes my back feel like a noodle and encourages the best slumber.

Recommended for those late twenties babies who are feelin’ that back pain kick in. But really it’s for everyone. Find it here.
