We are a women-led direct to consumer business with performance and data foundations, but a strong focus on brand and storytelling. ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Advertising Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of both planning and executing our marketing strategy, which includes campaign management, email marketing, content creation, social media management, paid performance, and managing our website. You’ll develop and execute strategies across the full marketing funnel, from increasing brand awareness to driving customer acquisition and retention. Your work will directly contribute to our brand’s growth, with measurable outcomes across all channels, including paid marketing, email marketing, our website and content marketing.
This is a dynamic role that requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organisational skills who can juggle multiple projects, is passionate about building brands and has a growth mindset. You’ll be a core member of the team who is excited to think deeply and strategically about our brand, though recognising our size you’ll also be responsible for execution, with support from a performance agency and content creators.
WHAT YOU NEED
Marketing-related tertiary education
5-7 years of relevant experience, across advertising, marketing, ecommerce, communications, email and content marketing
Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and measurable results. You will be skilled in advertising campaign planning, execution and management of analytics and optimisation
An understanding of performance media funnels
Analytical skills to interpret metrics, and optimise to drive sales and increase conversion
Excellent communication and organisational skills, for both independent and team-based work
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong experience across email and content marketing, with strong copywriting skills.
Previous experience in a D2C/Ecommerce business
Basic design skills to create engaging marketing materials
Genuine passion for the outdoors and alignment with our brand mission
Familiarity with reporting tools, including GA4

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement our advertising and marketing strategy to drive sales growth and customer engagement
- Management of paid media strategy in collaboration with digital agencies
- Execute marketing strategy across all brand touch points, including website, email, organic content and paid media
- Plan and execute creative marketing campaigns and product launches
- Responsible for storyboarding and managing creative for paid media
- Create and manage our email campaign & flow strategy, from planning through to optimisation in alignment with marketing objectives and seasonal storytelling
- Website management on Shopify, with content uploads, merchandising and reporting
