Role Description
As the Assistant Buyer at HARLI + HARPA, you will play an integral role in curating trend-led collections that reflect our brand and excite our customers. Supporting the Buyer, you’ll help drive commercial outcomes while bringing our accessories ranges to life across our rapidly growing store network.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Australia’s newest and fastest-growing fashion jewellery brands, with over 50 stores opened across Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa since launching in November 2024 – and we’re only just getting started.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyse market trends to identify new product and category opportunities
- Support the Buyer in developing and executing buying strategies to drive sales and profitability
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
- Assist with sample management, cost negotiations and range building
- Partner closely with the merchandising team to ensure effective product flow and stock management
- Monitor sell-through rates and provide insights to guide future buying decisions
KEY SKILLS
- Previous experience in a buying or merchandising role (fashion or accessories experience highly regarded)
- Strong commercial awareness with a natural eye for trends
- Analytical mindset with confidence interpreting data and performance insights
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a strong eagerness to learn
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing or fashion (preferred)
