Role Description
Cushla Whiting is a Melbourne-based fine jewellery label known for bespoke, handcrafted pieces with architectural sensibility. We’re looking for a Content Specialist / Creator to produce social-first content across our channels, primarily Instagram and TikTok, and help shape how the brand shows up online.
This is a hands-on, creative role with real scope to make it your own. You’ll work closely with the Brand Manager and Creative Director to produce lo-fi and polished content end-to-end, from concept through to scheduling.
This is a part-time role, 4-day work week.
ABOUT YOU
- 2+ years producing social content for a brand or agency, with a portfolio that shows strong visual judgement and platform awareness.
- Confident shooting and editing lo-fi content independently, using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere or equivalent.
- A genuine understanding of what works on Instagram and TikTok, not just the formats, but the tone.
- Strong eye for detail, especially in a brand context where quality and consistency matter.
- Comfortable on both sides of the camera.
- Organised and self-directed: you can manage your own deadlines and flag issues early.
- An appreciation for fine jewellery, craftsmanship, or luxury product content is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce short-form, social-first video content end-to-end: concept, shoot, edit, deliver.
- Own and maintain the organic social calendar across Instagram, Youtube and TikTok, keeping content on-brand, on time, and aligned with campaign priorities.
- Respond to briefs and bring reactive content ideas that tap into platform trends while staying true to the Cushla Whiting aesthetic.
- Capture lo-fi content in-studio, in-store, and on location.
- Direct talent when needed, and step in front of camera when required.
- Stay across platform trends: sounds, formats, transitions, emerging channels and present relevant opportunities to the team.
- Work within the creative review process: submit content, action feedback, and meet handover deadlines.
- Contribute ideas and learnings across the Brand and Marketing team on a regular basis.
