Role Description
A lucrative 6-month contract has become available with MECCA in within our incredible design team. As a key player, you will use your keen eye to be responsible for the finished art and roll out of, campaigns and promotional communications across all print (i.e. VM, in-store signage, packaging, promotional, windows etc.). With stakeholder relationships at the heart of our teams, your role will also extend to support on ad-hoc design requirements briefed in from other departments.
You will have the ability to work at a high-level under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, work well within a team, and display excellent communication abilities. You will have the ability to take on a design concept and roll it out to print-ready finished art. Attention to detail, an appreciation for a luxe, leading retail environment, and the ability to be both commercially sensible, yet creatively ambitious, will be essential to succeeding in your role.

You are confident in analysing existing processes & ways of art working as well as proactive on proposing new procedures that drive efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities

Roll out of monthly in-store signage and window creative across all stores.

Layout of artwork in presentation summaries to share with wider marketing team.

Deliver finished art in print ready formats, within the Marketing calendar guidelines.

Create/update signage for new and existing brands within the MECCA-led signage templates.

Updating and maintaining CC brand libraries.

Proactively identify opportunities for efficiencies.

Drive constant improvement in all creative resources and capabilities.

Assist in effective time management procedures.
KEY SKILLS
-
3 + years of experience in the relevant field.

Strong finished art experience, with a good understanding of print pre-press.

Strong InDesign and Illustrator capabilities.

A solid understanding of typography principles and best practice.

Good understanding of branding and working with brand style guides.

Highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.

Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.

The ability to present your designs and ideas to senior stakeholders and be responsible and adept at gathering, processing, and actioning feedback.

Knowledge on sustainability best practices desirable.
-
Interest in retail, beauty, and fashion trends a plus.
