Role Description
We’re a fast-growing, Melbourne-based fashion company designing contemporary men’s and women’s apparel, guided by a philosophy of thoughtful design and practical simplicity.
We are seeking a passionate and detail-driven Garment Technician to join our team in Collingwood. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves product, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is excited by the opportunity to help shape beautiful, well-made garments from concept to production.

As our Garment Technician, you will play a critical role in bringing our product vision to life. You’ll ensure every piece meets our high standards of fit, workmanship, and quality, while supporting a seamless journey from design handover through to pre-production approval and bulk QC.
You will work closely with our Founders and our factories, contributing directly to the evolution of our collections and helping translate creative ideas into technically sound, production-ready garments.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end role for someone who is passionate about building exceptional product.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed tech packs and technical specifications.
- Conduct fittings and prepare clear, accurate fit reports.
- Liaise closely with factories and suppliers to ensure quality and consistency.
- Manage garment samples from initial request through to final approval.
- Maintain consistent sizing, grading, and fit standards across all categories.
- Provide technical problem-solving support from concept to production.
- Make informed recommendations to improve garments.
- Manage the critical path to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of each collection.
KEY SKILLS
- 3+ years’ experience as a Garment Technician (preferred).
- A tertiary qualification in fashion, textiles, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric behaviour, and fit.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with NetSuite (desirable).
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- A genuine passion for fashion, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
