Role Description
Trophy Wife is teaming up with beauty retailer Mecca to launch our second salon in May 2025 and we’re looking for top-tier nail technicians and artists to join us.
This isn’t just any salon. It’s inside Mecca’s massive 4,000sqm Bourke St Flagship, a game-changing beauty destination set to become a city landmark. With 200+ powerhouse brands, countless new experiences, and world-class beauty services, this space will be the ultimate playground for beauty lovers.

We are a close knit supportive team who are looking for casuals or part time staff to join us with the opportunity of a full time role.
Our ideal candidate is
- Confident in the application of gel polish, normal nail polish, builder gel and a bonus if you can do Apres Gel-X extensions.
- Preferred e-file experience.
- Proficient manicure skills including careful, precise cuticle work with an eye for detail and care.
- Knowledgeable and dedicated to thorough hygiene practices.
- Able to communicate with clients about nail health in a positive and productive manner.
- Confident in the application of hand painted nail art.
- Able to deliver exceptional customer service and communication skills. This is very important to us.
- Someone with a positive disposition.
- Strong work ethic and team ethos are vital.
- Preferably 6 months of professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the go-to expert in all things nails. Providing exceptional gel and normal nail polish manicures, whilst educating the client on recommended aftercare practices.
- You will guide clients to create on trend nail art designs and curate custom art to fit their brief.
- You are comfortable providing back to back services whilst providing exceptional customer service and hygiene practices.
- This opportunity also offers the chance to work at pop-up nail events, editorial and commercial photoshoots.
Job Types: Casual with the option of part time or full time. We are looking for two days availability at a minimum.
Location: Melbourne CBD and offsite events work.
Schedule:
Opening Monday – Sunday
Opening hours: 9am-9pm
