Role Description
Eva’s Sunday is a female-founded and independently owned Australian fashion label based in Fitzroy, Melbourne. We’re a brand driven by the purpose of empowering customers to embrace their individuality by creating wardrobes that simplify daily dressing, elevate confidence, and exude effortless style.
We are seeking an experienced and eager marketing coordinator to join our team and replace the current staff member who is leaving. This person will plan and execute all marketing responsibilities, including our email marketing calendar, social media and website content, and manage our advertising and media relations.
The position is ideally suited for a marketing professional with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role client or agency side who wants to pave a career in the fashion industry. Join our amazing all-female team at Eva’s Sunday Head Office in Fitzroy.
Key Responsibilities
- Email and SMS Marketing: Plan, create, write copy for, and schedule approximately four weekly email campaigns, along with occasional SMS campaigns. Manage and update email flows for optimisation.
- Marketing Calendar Management: Develop and oversee the marketing calendar, planning promotions and larger sales events. Communicate these details effectively to both internal teams and customers.
- Advertising: Plan and create Meta ads, collaborating closely with our media buyer by providing necessary details such as copy, landing pages, and creatives for new ads during releases and sales.
- Website Management: Coordinate with our web developer/SEO specialist for ongoing website optimisations. Regularly update website creatives and layouts, including banners, announcement bars, and featured collections during releases and sales.
- Content Management: Layout and publish blog content and imagery for journal posts on our website, typically once a fortnight. Manage communications and scheduling with the copywriter responsible for these posts.
- Social Media Management: Plan and schedule daily Instagram and Facebook posts, including writing engaging captions (1-2 posts per day).
- Loyalty Program Management: Maintain and manage our newly launched loyalty program with Yotpo, ensuring integration with EDM campaigns and liaising with our Yotpo account manager as needed.
- Media Relations: Manage communications with media and magazine companies, providing them with ad creatives and copy.
- Photoshoot Coordination: Plan and direct/manage smaller promotional content shoots.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of proven marketing experience in the industry either agency or client-side
- Proven experience in managing a marketing calendar (including EDM + SMS campaigns, social media and meta-advertising)
- Knowledge of all social networking platforms
- Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Lightroom, and Photoshop
- Experience with Klaviyo or similar EDM programs
- Basic graphic design skills with a keen eye for detail and layout
- Familiarity with the Shopify platform
- Basic video editing skills for creating social media content and reels
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
