Jac + Jack
Production Coordinator
company: | Jac + Jack |
job title: | Production Coordinator |
location: | Potts Point |
work type: | Full-time |
level: | Mid-level |
Role Description
We’re on the lookout for a Production Coordinator who can juggle timelines, textiles, and factory calls without losing their cool. If you’ve got a sharp eye for detail, a passion for well-made garments, and a can-do attitude (with a side of good vibes), this role might be for you.
This position plays a key role in keeping our production process running like a well-oiled machine — from first sample to final shipment. You’ll work closely with the Design Team and suppliers to make sure every style is delivered on time, to spec and to our Jac+Jack standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the full production lifecycle: tracking styles from design handover through to delivery.
- Liaising with factories on timelines, capacity and materials — and keeping everyone on-track.
- Creating and maintaining production calendars and WIP trackers.
- Managing the sample and production timeline — following up on approvals, lab dips, trims and testing.
- Attending fittings, taking detailed notes and updating tech packs + BOMs with precision.
- Supporting the team with daily updates, flagging any delays or issues and being the go-to for “what’s next?”
- Keeping quality top of mind — working with the team to ensure every garment meets our standards.
- Helping maintain great relationships with suppliers and bringing positive energy into every email, call and meeting.
KEY SKILLS
- You have at least 2 years experience in apparel production or product development.
- You understand garment construction, sampling and lead times like the back of your hand.
- You’re an organiser — detail-oriented, proactive and always two steps ahead.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love problem-solving on the fly.
- Strong communication skills — whether it’s a clear email, a last-minute phone call, or a detailed production update.
- Experience with both local and offshore manufacturing is a big plus.
- Experience using AP21 or similar ERP systems.
- Intermediate skill level in Excel.
- A love for ethical production and sustainability in fashion is a must.
