• Research and sourcing materials, suppliers
• Creating techpacks for protos, SMS, PPS onshore and offshore, may include CAD drawings
• Liaising with makers on-shore and offshore to make sure final desired samples are achieved and to deadline
• Facilitating and organising samples for fittings, writing comments, taking instruction and sending information and feedback back to makers and off-shore sample-room
• Measuring samples in detail for construction, fit and measurements are consistent with specs
• Troubleshoot any sampling issues, understanding the key construction sewing issues and effectively communicating and offering resolutions with suppliers
• Prepare samples for fittings by steaming, QC, measurement and review samples
• Booking-in samples and book-out accurately and efficiently into ERP system
• Sample management in ERP and facilitating the accurate transfer of samples season on season to other departments within and outside of ANNA QUAN
• Any other incidental tasks required in the creation of accurate samples, SMS and PPS
• Keeping track of all raw materials inventory, WIP MoM and recordingaccurately in ERP
• Identifying any opportunities to use up WIP and leftover raw materials
• Liaising and following up on bulk and sampling fabrics and trims
• Assist in reviewing shipping samples for approval and bulk follow ups
• Request lab dips and follow ups with suppliers to ensure all materials are meeting the critical path
• Review measurements of all TOP samples, review grading charts and
• Troubleshoot any production issues or inconsistencies with production samples
• Maintain accurate records of WIP and sample inventory, including tracking sample movements and locations.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate sample shipments and on-time deliveries.
• Owning end to end and follow-up of the critical path tasks as directed by the Sampling and Production Co-Ordinator
• Continually reviewing and checking that the critical path stakeholders internal and external are meeting key deadlines and assisting in expediting deadlines where possible
• Any other incidental tasks required in a small business to adhere to the critical path timeline and production schedule
• Accurately recording all information relating to samples and production and effectively communicating that to all relevant stake-holders
• Reviewing all raw materials invoices and samples carefully and checking for discrepancies
• Data entry – working with the ERP to enter in new styles, fabrics, yields, pricing and any information required for production and sampling
• Assist the Sampling and Production Co-Ordinator in reviewing and reducing production costs
• Tracking all sampling and production costs
• Foster and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
• Reinforce AQ values in excellence, teamwork and collaboration

KEY SKILLS

• Fashion Diploma, degree or equivalent in fashion production and manufacturing
• Previous 2 years experience or more in production, sampling, or a similar role within the manufacturing or fashion industry
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Technical knowledge of production processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques in fashion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/G-suite and production management software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically to resolve issues and improve processes
• Eager to learn, develop skills and work as part of a team
