The role is well suited to a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and support a variety of customers, terms, and deadlines. This role will greatly support a variety of stakeholders and therefore presents exciting opportunities for personal growth and development for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting Inbound Coordinator with supplying relevant documentation to all 3PLs for inbound/outbound stock
- Work with local and international suppliers for all relevant shipping and customs clearance documentation is actioned
- Ensure economical decisions are made around freight and logistics choices including method of transport, consolidation, and rate reviews
- Liaise with relevant freight forwarders for key timeline on freight movements and delivery to 3PL’s
- Manage both EDI receipt, and manual receipt of goods into various locations
- Daily communications with 3PLs to identify what is priority and expected timelines for inbound processing
- Track and resolve any issues with freight movement between 3PL’s, ensuring on time and in full delivery to stores each week from Aje warehouse
- Follow up any shortage or discrepancy of deliveries with relevant parties including warehouse, production managers and suppliers before shipment
- Work together with Inventory Controller to resolve inventory discrepancy in 3PL warehouses
KEY SKILLS
- Adherence to company critical path and Production team’s department deadlines
- On time delivery from suppliers to warehouses
- On time invoice processing for payments
- Shrinkage/data integrity KPIs
- System and Administration maintenance
- Completion of all quarterly projects and tasks, as agreed with the Senior Supply Chain Manager – Imports Wholesale & Optimisation
