Role Description
We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Textile & Graphic Designer to join Seed Heritage. This role is responsible for delivering textile and graphic elements, ensuring all designs reflect and strengthen the brands aesthetic.
Working closely with Design, Product Development and Production, you will take concepts from research through to final artwork and supplier handover, delivering to timeline while contributing to overall brand performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant textile and graphic trends aligned to the brand
- Develop original textile prints and graphics on a monthly basis in collaboration with Designers
- Support the Buying team throughout the product development process
- Maintain and regularly update style file visual imagery
- Prepare and send final artwork to suppliers and liaise where required
- Collaborate with the wider Graphic & Textile team to ensure deadlines are met
- Apply an understanding of brand performance to improve product outcomes
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Partner across the Group to deliver work on time and within budget
- Contribute to outcomes that enhance brand growth and performance
- On-site role 3-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
KEY SKILLS
- Proven experience in a similar Textile or Graphic Design role within fashion or retail
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design or a related discipline
- Ability to work from concept creation through to finished product
- Strong creative thinking with the ability to generate fresh ideas
- Advanced skills in design applications (Adobe Creative Suite essential)
- Exceptional organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
- Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
- Confident communication skills across all levels
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Ability to think laterally and problem-solve creatively
