Annie Hamilton’s latest drop transports us to Iceland

Words by Rosie Macquire

Equinox.

Sydney-based designer Annie Hamilton has just dropped her autumn/winter collection EQUINOX, inspired by a two-month stint in Iceland.

Known for her use of minimalist styles contrasted with maximalist prints, Hamilton focuses her designs on being durable, functional and wearable.

Her latest collection features hand-illustrated prints inspired by Icelandic wildflowers, using carefully selected fabrics like silk and wool set to celebrate the arrival of winter.

And fit to the theme of changing seasons, the collection demonstrates the prints in two colourways dubbed ‘Autumn’ and ‘Winter. You’ll also find subtle fringing details throughout to represent Iceland’s delicate but ethereal landscape.

If you like what you see, you can catch Annie Hamilton in person at a pop-up shop in Sydney this week. EQUINOX is also available to shop online.
