Making it easier to be environmentally friendly.

As the demand for sustainability grows, online fashion giant ASOS is the latest retailer to launch a sustainable category on its website.

The Responsible Edit offers an easy way for consumers to shop all ASOS’s environmentally-conscious clothing and accessories in one place.

The products all have recycled materials, sustainable fibres or fabrics included in their makeup, which use less water and exert less waste along the way.

ASOS has also launched a responsible filter, which allows shoppers to view the products in two categories: recycled or sustainable materials.

They aren’t the first online retailer to introduce environmentally friendly platforms into their business model. Just last month, Net-a-Porter introduced Net Sustain to give its customers the option to shop more ethically.

But ASOS is operating at a much lower price bracket to the luxury retailer, proving that sustainable shopping doesn’t need to come with a hefty price tag.

It seems fashion giants are reading the writing on the wall. The question is, is it enough?
