Warm fuzzies.
Upon seeing the words ‘UGG’ and ‘sneaker’ in the same sentence, we expected a new contender for the world’s ugliest shoe. Surprisingly though, BAPE’s version is actually pretty wearable.
The Japanese streetwear label has teamed up with UGG to unveil a sneaker that looks to be straight out of the ’90s.
Arriving with a brown suede upper and shearling trim, the chunky shoe has a clear UGG aesthetic. It also sits on a stacked white mid-sole and is completed with a white BAPE star logo on the side.
The release is joined by a pair of slides, featuring a rubber sole and sheepskin upper with BAPE spelt out in shearling.
Both releases are available now from selected BAPE stores globally.
