Bee Cooper fronts Australian label RES Denim’s latest collection

Cowboy boots with everything.
Some will say that denim was never out, but we can categorically confirm that right now it is very, very in.
Local label, RES Denim, has confirmed that age-old truth with its latest collection, Spring 2019 MUSE. The brand has taken inspiration from quintessential Australian beach culture and paired it with darker denim washes and distressing to ensure the classic designs still have a contemporary silhouette.
It also found the perfect person to front the campaign in Australian model Brigette Cooper, who hails from Byron Bay and embodies the collection’s edgy and feminine feel.
Cooper is featured in a wide variety of denim favourites – including Brigette’s personal favourite, the Harrys High Crop Skinny – as well as skirts, shorts, and a denim jacket. The collection was shot in iconic locations around St Kilda, including the Espy Hotel, St Kilda Baths and St Kilda beach.
Her main styling tip? “Cowboy boots with everything.”
The label was originally established by Bradmill Textiles in the early 2000s, and has cemented itself as an Australian wardrobe staple. All RES Denim pieces are made using heritage cloth recipes from the ’40s and high-quality dyes from around the world, helping to keep up a classic look across its range. The brand aims to strike the balance between aspirational and achievable fashion, focusing on producing simple cuts that’ll last years in your wardrobe.
