WORDS BY TESS FISHER

Personalised, clear, custom and aesthetic phone cases.

If you’ve spent more than you care to admit on mobile phones over the years, you’re not alone. The smartphone industry is worth more than $500 billion Australian dollarydoos, and with good reason. Not only are these fragile but valuable little bricks your connection to friends, family and the outside world, they are also a chance to flaunt your personal style.

Not to sound like my dad hammering home the importance of function AND form (“No Tess, you can’t just bring a suitcase of crop tops on your trip home to Tasmania this winter”), but investing in a stylish yet protective phone case is a seriously wise decision.

Chances are you’ve made a four-digit investment when you bought your last phone, and if you’re letting that spenny bit of tech freeball it in your pocket, you’re not afraid to die. If you fall into that category, I respect your bold decision and wish you luck in your future endeavours. I, however, did not wake up and choose violence.

Instead, I remain one of the biggest advocates out there for putting safety first and protecting your precious smartphone with a hardy, sartorially-savvy case. So here are FJ’s favourite 15 cases on the market – just don’t blame us if you spend more time taking pics of the covers than actually having them on your phone!

The Dairy’s Nardurna collection features a selection of vibrant prints and colourful patterns from talented Gudanji Wakaja artist, Ryhia Dank. Each of the bright designs tells a story of the people and places that are important to Ryhia, and the 3D printed, high-gloss polycarbonate cases are fade and rub-resistant, meaning the cover will stay looking just as good as the day you bought it.
