Dion Lee killed it at New York Fashion Week
“Displaced eveningwear” from Down Under.
Dion Lee’s fourth consecutive collection for New York Fashion Week pulled a crowd of serious VIPs to the front row as only high fashion’s crème de la crème can.

The Sydney designer described his range as “displaced eveningwear”, in which an overall casual collection was borne from eveningwear fabrics. Most notably was the contrast of fabric textures; mohair was paired with satin for a look unique to Dion Lee.
No need for envy though Australia. We may not have New York Fashion Week, but we do have Dion Lee. And next season we’ll have access to this very same collection, too.
