Leonard St. SS16 is getting us very excited for summer
Prints on point.
Leonard St. Spring/Summer is here, and boy oh boy does it pack a punch.
Once again designer Amanda McCarthy has proven that she absolutely kills it in the print game.
This season’s playful patterns include matches (taking inspiration from the straight line and bold geometrics), sloths (because sloths are awesome, obviously), and Morse code with florals (because if anyone could make that combination work it would be Leonard St.)
Aside from the obviously awesome prints, the silhouettes are also a standout. The local brand pays homage to the 1960s with shift mini dresses, and the 1930s with drop waists and pleated sleeves. Staple colours include lilac, orange details and bright azure.
We’ll take one of everything please.
