A free runway is happening in Melbourne tomorrow night to kick off MFW

And other events.

We’re just one day away from Melbourne Fashion Week’s launch and there’s a lot going down tomorrow night to get the celebrations rolling.

Kicking off with MFW’s Opening Night Runway, the night will see retail offers, activations and pop-up events held throughout the city.

The free Opening Night Runway on Little Bourke Street will present Spring/Summer collections from some of Emporium Melbourne’s retail offering, including Dion Lee, Camilla & Marc and Scanlan Theodore. After the shows, guests can shop the looks at Emporium and nab some exclusive one-day offers.

As the city transforms into the ultimate fashion hub for Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out, Little Bourke Street will be aptly lit up in the colour of the season, blush pink.

If you’re a fan of the shade, we’d mark the Blushing Bar on your to do list. Emporium’s Level 1 bar will be serving its signature ‘Blushing’ cocktail, which infuses gin, rose vermouth and lemon with spritz.

Melbourne Central is also delving into all things pink, hosting a Millennial Pink Party. The centre will host pop-ups, personalising stations and food – all with a millennial pink theme – from five to 10pm.

Those who want to indulge in some music can head to the Melbourne Town Hall forecourt to enjoy live DJ sets from Jennifer Loveless, Brooke Powers and David Pits.

See you there.
