A night to remember.

One of the most anticipated events on the Australian Fashion Week schedule, Nicol and Ford’s fifth consecutive runway show, Feint, took over Elizabeth Bay House last night for an off-site showcase that felt as much like a cultural happening as it did a fashion show.

True to the designers’ ethos, the evening blurred the lines between fashion, art and performance, drawing a creative community dressed in expressive, individual looks. Leopard print mingled with sheer silk and lace, gowns swept across sandstone floors and feathers drifted through the historic residence.

Set against the layered history of the venue, chosen for its ties to bohemian and queer artistic life, Feint unfolded through the label’s signature community casting, reinforcing Nicol and Ford’s commitment to fashion as cultural dialogue and collective expression. Photographer Josh Szeto was there, capturing some of the best-dressed guests as the sun went down.
