British department store Debenhams is coming to Melbourne

London calling.

Something very old and very British is soon to grace the streets of Melbourne and no, we’re not talking about Queen Lizzy.

Debenhams, one of the UK’s most historic department stores, will soon open the doors of its first Australian store.

The Collins Lane complex will house a curated collection of fashion and homewares, with designers including Preen, Jasper Conran, Julien Macdonald and Roksanda Ilincic.

It will also offer beauty and fragrance from brands including MAC, Tom Ford, Bobbi Brown, Gucci, Chloé and Valentino.

An app launching in conjunction with the store’s opening will allow customers to earn rewards and book styling and beauty consultations. For the next month, the Debenhams Australia app will also let you to also scan products in-store for information about stock and size availability.

Now that’s our cuppa tea.

Debenhams Melbourne opens on October 24 at 10am at 260 Collins Street, Melbourne.
