Here’s a closer look at the Uniqlo x Hana Tajima conservative wear collab

Making modest more accessible.

Uniqlo is launching a line of hijabs and tunics for the first time this Friday.

The collection marks the retailer’s second collaboration with Hana Tajima, a British designer and visual artist who has steadily become a new and unique voice in fashion all over the world.

“Our second collection with Hana this Spring/Summer season will introduce essential pieces that reflect her style for modest fashion while combining our LifeWear concept in which is to focus on the wearer’s lifestyle,” a Uniqlo spokesperson said.

Uniqlo joins a long line of designers, including Zara, Mango, H&M and Dolce & Gabbana, catering to the growing Muslim fashion market.

The collection will drop first in the UK this Friday March 18, ahead of other Uniqlo stores around the world.
