LIFEwithBIRD opens AW15 pop-up in Melbourme
LIFEwithBIRD spreads its wings.
We’ve long had a love affair with homegrown label LIFEwithBIRD. Their simplicity of design, eye for lines and attention to detail is a winning formula that few can execute, so it’s no surprise the label continues to grow.
The newest addition to the LIFEwithBIRD repertoire is a pop-up in Melbourne’s QV building, expanding on the existing Flinders Lane location. On the move, designer and co-founder Nicholas Van Messner said, “A lot of interesting things are happening at that end of the city, with the opening of Emporium and the emergence of Rankins Lane… The city is growing.”
To kick off with a bang, the label enlisted Melbourne-based artist Bianca Cash, who designed an exclusive typography-based art installation for the pop-up.
The space opened its doors this morning and will stay open for the duration of the Autumn Winter 2015 season.
