Lorde dressed up as the Salsa Dancer emoji

Giving Sassy Girl a run for her money.

In current day language, the emoji has found quite a place in our on-screen vocabulary.

We’ve all got our go-to, and so does Grammy winning pop star, Lorde. Wether it was by coincidence or not, Lorde can be seen here rocking a red dress looking rather like the much-loved celebratory salsa dancer emoji.

The 18 year old kiwi was definitely on par with the spirit of the dancer, but in a interview with the Australian Broadcasting Company last year, she mentioned that her true favourite was but another emoji.

“My favourite one is the painting of the nails. It’s so sassy. It’s like, ‘I don’t care. I can do what I want.’”  

So sassy.
