The 2016 Pirelli Calendar is here and it is perfect

A much needed makeover.

A few months ago Pirelli announced that their infamous and racy yearly calendar, which usually features famous supermodels in near nothing, was getting a revamp.

The 43^rd instalment has tapped some of the world’s most influential women. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, the calendar saw the likes of Tavi Gevinson, Yoko Ono and Patti Smith pose for black and white portraits, in what is probably a very smart marketing move.

Two celebrities still decided they would like to pose topless, with the resulting portraits stunningly real and powerful. Comedian Amy Schumer and tennis great Serena Williams give us a new take on the exotic nudes we usually expect from Pirelli, and it couldn’t be better.
