HoMie drops a new collection of upcycled one-offs

Words by Maeve Kerr-Crowley

Giving clothes a new, significantly cooler life.

Social-enterprise-cum-clothing-label HoMie is constantly upping its efforts to be sustainable in our ever-changing fashion industry.

Following the huge success of its HoMie Upcycled range last year, the brand has just released another collection that’s all about reducing, reusing and recycling.

Called REBORN, the capsule is made up entirely of one-off upcycled garments. Materials were sourced from op shops or factory floors and transformed into statement streetwear pieces.

The drop includes spliced and printed T-shirts, sweatshirts and blazers, each of which comes with a ‘Rebirth Certificate’ highlighting the benefits of upcycled fashion.

HoMie’s Creative Director, Marcus Crook, says of the collection, “REBORN gives customers the opportunity to save a garment from inevitable landfill, a second chance and a rebirth into something new, unique and exciting.”

REBORN is available to shop online now, and judging by how quickly the last range sold out, we recommend acting fast.
