TBH, kinda into it.

We’ve resigned to the fact that handbags will barely fit our phone, wallet and keys anymore, but this takes things to a whole new level.

As part of its Winter 19/20 show, Jacquemus has unveiled the ‘Mini Le Chiquito’, a handbag so small it would struggle to fit a single Eclipse mint.

It begs the question: Why does Jacquemus insist on defying the traditional conventions of scale? Let’s not forget, this is the brand that gifted us with the hilarious meme that was that giant handbag. And that giant hat.

Don’t remember?

The handbag was initially previewed as an invitation to the brand’s show on Instagram. But then, it also made its appearance down the runway, along with a suitably small crossbody bag.

The kicker? The bag isn’t available for purchase yet, but if Jacquemus’ current micro bags are anything to go by, we can expect a price point above $500.
