Kowtow and Koskela collaborate for a Sydney pop-up

Words by Maki Morita

Fashionable furniture.

With a similar ethos of ethical and sustainable design, it’s no wonder that New Zealand label Kowtow is once again collaborating with Sydney-based furniture and homeware store Koskela.

Koskela makes the sort of elegant, timeless pieces that you can (and will definitely want) to treasure for life. Its all about high-quality design with low environmental impact and the company has a strong dedication to ethical and sustainable practices. Kowtow is similarly committed to ethical manufacturing and champions slow, conscious consumption amidst the frenzy of fast fashion. Kowtow only uses renewable and sustainable fibres and is known for its sleek, minimal designs.

Earlier this year, Kowtow and Koskela collaborated together on a redesign of the Koskela staff uniforms. So it was only a natural progression for Kowtow to be the first-ever clothing brand to have a pop up in the Koskela store.

Sydneysiders can now shop Kowtow’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection at the pop-up in Koskela until January 24.
