On the rise.
In news that should surprise no one, LVMH has reported record-breaking sales during its 2018 period.
The luxury fashion group revealed a 10% increase in sales over the previous year, bringing in total revenue of €46.8 billion (approx. $74.1 billion AUD). Ongoing success has largely been attributed to the strong profit growth of Louis Vuitton and Dior, with fashion and leather goods the most successful category.
Moving into 2019, it’s expected the two luxury brands will continue to rise, with great emphasis placed on the roles of Virgil Abloh for Louis Vuitton and Kim Jones for Dior Homme.
According to Fashionista, LVMH also claimed Celine had reached an ‘ambitious stage’ under the direction of Hedi Slimane.
