Going the distance.
Having made appearances at fashion weeks and in street style galleries the world over, the ‘Dad Sneaker’ has firmly established itself as a key footwear trend.
While dressing like Steve Jobs or your father in the ’80s may seem a little counter-intuitive, if done right you can be straight on your way to sartorial success (and comfort, of course).
The New Balance MADE 990 is one of the most iconic Dad Sneakers there is. First released in 1982 as a performance shoe, the style has been around for over three decades and represents the best quality, craftsmanship and performance the brand has to offer. Worn by everyone from politicians to sneaker connoisseurs and social influencers, the 990 is as culturally relevant now as it was in the ’80s.
With the relaunch of the 990v4 this month, we grabbed a few pairs and put our own fashionable spin on the legendary silhouette.
MADE 990v4 is available online and at New Balance store at Melbourne Central, Chadstone Shopping Centre and Pitt Street Sydney for $300.
