Nike combines pool slides and bum bags for its latest release

Pure genius.

Just when we thought we’d seen it all, Nike has gone and combined two of our favourite things: slides and bum bags.

In theory, the concept sounds so wrong. But put into practice, it’s oh so right. It’s everything you could want in a shoe and more – unique, functional (leave your handbag at home) and comfy. 

Titled ‘Fanny Pack’, the revamped version of the classic Benassi JDI Slides will arrive in three colourways – black, black/pink and green/blue. And as the name suggests, in place of the usual strap, the style has been topped off with a mini bumbag pouch.

The hybrid is dropping soon in the US, and we’re keeping our fingers and toes crossed for an Australian release.
