Nike is giving the Cortez a floral update

While the retro Cortez may have risen to prominence as a running shoe, it’s now firmly cemented itself as a street style favourite.

This month, the design has been given its prettiest update yet, with Nike teasing details of a floral makeover.

The release will include three new colourways (pictured above), all complete with the signature Swoosh across the sides and throughout the printed uppers. Even the lining has been given floral accents. As a finishing touch, each style includes a floral deubré – a fancy word for an ornamental shoelace tag.

Exact release dates are yet to be announced, however, the style is expected to hit select retailers and the Nike online store very soon.
