Local brand Bella Eco is committed to revolutionising its textiles and ensuring your undies are as green as possible.
After over a decade of creating comfy intimates from bamboo and other environmentally-friendly fabrics, parent company Bella Bodies sought out even more sustainable ways to produce its products.
Which is how the label came across Amni Soul Eco technology, an Italian-made yarn that’s completely biodegradable. Once in landfill, the fibre breaks down into organic matter within around five years.
For some perspective, traditional synthetic yarns can take more than 50 years to degrade.
Plus, the Amni Soul yarn is free of any toxic substances, which is what you want from fabric that close to your bits and pieces.
This new soft touch, fast-drying textile is used across all of the brand’s designs, including underwear, bras, loungewear and activewear. Expect essentials like leggings crop tops and briefs in a minimal palette of white, black, blush and teal.
