UNIQLO x JW Anderson collab is a little bit Nordic, a little bit Cornish

Words by Maeve Kerr-Crowley

All kinds of country.

UNIQLO and JW Anderson are launching a new collaborative collection next year, and although summer’s barely started, it’s getting us kind of excited for winter.

Inspired by the great outdoors and the art-meets-nature culture of St. Ives in Cornwall, England, the collection is heavy on tartan, chunky knits and outerwear.

Across both the women’s and men’s ranges, you’ll find knitted jumpers, fuzzy zip up jackets, corduroy pants and modern takes on the classic flannel shirt.

To stay extra cosy when the temperature drops, the duo have included reversible down jackets and HEATTECH pants.

There’s also a line of accessories including beanies, socks and scarves featuring Nordic-inspired designs.

The collection drops April 16, 2020, but in the meantime you can check out every piece in the gallery above.
