I shudder to think of the hours I’ve spent in packed shopping centres or scrolling online, only to settle on gifts for loved ones that are (most likely) regifted in the new year.  You know the type: a thoughtless, crowd-pleasing gift set from a mass chain store that says nothing about the person you’re buying for and could just as easily be given to nan as it could to your nephew.

Despite our best intentions, when you consider how many gifts each of us gives over this time of year, it makes sense we end up taking shortcuts. But here’s a gifting shortcut that will have you feeling better about yourself.
