Airbnb has teamed up with the Louvre for the competition of a lifetime.
To mark 30 years of the museum’s iconic pyramid entrance, the duo is inviting one lucky guest (and their plus-one) to stay the night at the Louvre.
For one night only, you’ll experience the magic of the museum after dark, including a sit-down dinner alongside some pretty famous works of art, and an intimate acoustic concert.
The fun will begin at sunset, where a VIP guide will take you and your guest on an after-hours tour of the museum (the same opportunity afforded to the Obamas, Jay-Z and Beyoncé).
Then, you’ll enjoy an apéritif with the Mona Lisa in a makeshift living room, before sitting down to dinner with the Venus of Milo.
If that wasn’t enough, you’ll unwind by attending an intimate acoustic concert in Napoleon III’s opulent apartments, before retiring to your room under the stars.
To enter, head here and answer the question ‘Why would you be the Mona Lisa’s perfect guest?’ before April 12. One winner will be selected, and you must be eligible to travel between April 28 and May 2.
But even if you don’t win, a series of bookable experiences at the Louvre is launching on Airbnb in May. The programme is set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
