A slice of history.

It’s a great week for art lovers.

While Airbnb is currently offering a chance to stay at the Louvre, a house reportedly owned by iconic Impressionist painter Claude Monet is available to rent.

For just $315 a night, you can stay inside the three-bedroom house in Giverny, France. Dubbed ‘The Blue House’, the rental features striking blue shutters on the outside, surrounded by picturesque gardens that are claimed to have featured in some of Monet’s works. While the artist officially resided in a nearby house in the same village, the owners claim this property was home to his vegetable garden.

The house was renovated in 2016, so there’s no need to worry about staying overnight in a dilapidated old building. You can rent the entire property, or just the first floor.

If you’d like to experience a slice of history, The Blue House is available to rent via Airbnb here.
