How porn star Angela White is spending Valentine’s Day this year

Valentine’s Day looks different for everyone. It might be one filled with romantic gestures that are otherwise saved for birthdays or proposals, or it could be a day where you feel a little lonely; reminded of everyone in your contact list who is in a relationship thanks to social media.
You might be feeling apathetic about Valentine’s Day, it might signify a freedom you didn’t have last year — or it might pass you by without a thought. But for world famous Australian-born porn star Angela White, it’s one of her busiest months.

“I always try to make Valentine’s Day special for my fans,” she tells me. “Most years I shoot a new romantic sex scene or a sensual masturbation video for fans to enjoy on the day.” But she’s going even bigger this year. She’s decided to dedicate an entire month to ‘Love’ on her OnlyFans.
“I’m sending fans daily messages reminding them that they are worthy of love and affection, kind and loving audio affirmations, and cute, wholesome videos where I give them compliments and turn them on. It’s the ultimate girlfriend experience.”
On Valentine’s Day itself, she’s doing a live show for anyone who is without a date. “I can be their date,” she explains.

I’ve met Angela a few times, and she’s incredibly generous, full of gratitude and respect for the work she does and the people that consume it. It turns out that this extends to Valentine’s Day content, too.
Angela is at the helm of her own content, directing and casting many of the films she appears in. She’s won countless AVN (Adult Video News) Awards — which are basically The Oscars of porn — and continues to be recognised as one of the industry’s greatest female performers.

For me, she’s one of the most enjoyable female porn stars to watch, because she really connects with her on-screen partner and visibly enjoys both the physical and emotional connection. Her love and understanding of human connection extends into her content. It’s the entire reason she’s built out Love Month for her fans.
“In the digital age, a lot of people feel disconnected, isolated, and alone,” she tells me. “Valentine’s Day can make some people feel particularly lonely if it seems like everyone around them is happily partnered. I hate the idea of anyone feeling lonely on Valentine’s Day, so I wanted to be available to fans to keep them company.”
She says she’s always had lots of positive feedback from her fans about her romantic and love-focused content. And she listens. “I think the content resonates with fans who want to feel loved and appreciated.”
Valentine’s Day can exacerbate negative emotions, especially if you’re going through something painful like a break-up, loss, or general loneliness. Nothing like a commercial holiday filled with visual cues about romance to really ramp up feelings of isolation or low self-esteem.
“Sometimes people just want to hear that they matter, that they’re appreciated, and that they are worthy,” she says. “I create a lot of audio messages, ASMR content and solo video content where I try to affirm their feelings and desires and then move into a wholesome masturbation session.”

“It can feel incredible to have someone make you feel appreciated verbally and then make you feel so much pleasure physically. It’s a double release… It also fulfils a need for some people who are currently single and are missing that kind of tenderness.”
Tenderness is something we all need, whether it be V-Day or not. Traditionally speaking, you wouldn’t think this kind of empathy and tenderness lives within the world (and work) of a famous porn star and content creator.
Angela likes to go above and beyond for her fans, noticing what they need and implementing it into her work. It’s one of the reasons she’s stayed at the top for so long. Not only do her fans love her content visually, but they feel touched by it (literally, sometimes) but in an emotional way too. She evokes this level of connection by constantly noticing what it is they’re asking for and experiencing in their own lives.
She’s recently noticed memes about men not getting compliments, and says she wants to create content that “makes men feel admired, appreciated and affirmed.”
“I’ve also made content that is gender-neutral and some specifically for women that focuses on the same thing. The whole point of Love Month is to make everyone feel loved and special while also having some sexy fun.”
That being said, this is the busiest Valentine’s Day period Angela has ever had, due to her month-long commitment to daily content.
In past years, her Valentine’s Day work has always varied. She keeps coming back to her popular romantic POV scenes that make the fan feel like she’s actually having sex with them and telling them directly how much she loves them.
She’s also done many mainstream Valentine’s Day-themed films with other porn stars. “I really enjoyed a rose petal bath and sensual massage video I did with Violet Myers one year. It was just lovely to take my time with her and spend more time with foreplay.”
While Valentine’s Day is something on the calendar for porn stars, it’s not usually an extra busy time, she says. Mainstream work might see her booked for a Valentine’s themed shoot, but porn has always created scenes to capitalise on every holiday fantasy, so those scenes are just scheduled as normal.
Angela has taken it upon herself to busy her schedule this V-Day. “It’s a fun way for me to give back to my fans. It makes me feel good knowing that I can make someone else feel special. And my fans always make me feel special too.”
