Japan’s Hello Kitty bullet train is launching this week

By now, we’re sure you’re quite familiar with the Hello Kitty bullet train that’s set to arrive in Japan.

Launching this Saturday, the Shinkansen will run between the western cities of Osaka and Fukuoka. As we previously reported, passengers can expect carriages completely decked out in Hello Kitty motifs.

The West Japan Railway Company (or JR West, as it’s better known), has also provided a sneak peek of the Shinkansen above.
