Wallets at the ready.
Few things excite us more than new releases from IKEA.
And raising our excitement levels even higher, the furniture giant has revealed two new collections for May and June.
To help you figure out which pieces you’ll be adding to your cart from next month, we’ve detailed what to expect from each drop.
First off the bat, May will see the release of the ÖVERALLT collection – a limited-edition range designed in collaboration with 10 African designers and artists.
This collection is described as an ‘urban living room’, inspired by urban areas of Africa. You can expect modern design mixed with traditional craft, ranging from larger pieces of furniture, to tableware and bold textiles.
Arriving in June is the FÖRNYAD collection, which has been designed with students in mind. It was created in partnership with Australian designer Craig Redman as well as creative director of colette, Sarah Andelman.
FÖRNYAD is for those who like to add a bit of fun to everyday life. The collection is a celebration of colour and design, with playful stationery, notebooks, desk lighting, stools, rugs and more on offer. You’ll also find some old favourites like a reworked FRAKTA bag (!!!).
Both collections will be available to shop at IKEA from May and June, respectively. In the meantime, check out every piece in the gallery above.
