Hold the phone: a new iPod Touch might be on the way

It’s time to party like it’s 2012, because Apple could be relaunching the good ol’ iPod Touch.

According to Japanese site Macotakara, a new version of the music player might be in the works. And considering it’s been four years since the Touch had an update – with the current model dating back to 2015 – we’d say it’s pretty overdue.

While details at this point are scarce, it’s been reported that the next iPod Touch will be geared towards children, particularly those without smartphones.

Apple is yet to confirm the news so in the meantime, we’d suggest keeping occupied with your existing devices.
